Patient Policy

1. Patients experiencing a cough or flu like symptoms are to request a facial mask from the receptionist to be worn immediately upon entering the clinic.

 

2. For the safety and cleanliness of our clinics, please remove your shoes and place in the shoe rack provided at the entrance of the clinic.

 

3. All patients must have a valid health card from Saskatchewan Health Services. Patients without a valid health card will be charged a fee of $65.00 to be paid prior to seeing a physician.

 

4. Mutual respect between patients and healthcare providers is our goal. Verbal or physical abuse of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in permanent dismissal from the clinic.

 

5. To ensure patient confidentiality, patients will be escorted by their healthcare provider or staff member to an examining room. Patients must be seen by the doctor for their prescription or refill thereof.

 

6. Test results will not be provided over the phone. An appointment will need to be scheduled with your family physician.

 

7. Patients with abnormal test results will be contacted and will be required to schedule an appointment with a physician to view results.

 

8. Saskatchewan Health does not cover the cost of completing third party forms and certain other services. Please consult the SMA fee guide posted in the clinic for more information.

 

9. Patients who fail to attend their booked appointments may be subject to a no show charge. Patients are requested to always inform the clinic 24 hours in advance if they are unable to come in for any booked appointments.
