Dr. Klippenstine is a licensed psychologist in the province of Saskatchewan. He completed his doctoral training in Phoenix, Arizona and his post doctoral residency at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He also currently works at the University of Regina. His clinical interests include personality assessment, individual and group therapy. He is licensed to work with clients aged 16 to Adult. He is a member of the Psychology Association of Saskatchewan and his license with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists is in good standing.

I am able to provide a variety of services for adults, including therapy and assessment. The most common issues that I see at Gateway include stress and anxiety from work, relationship issues, sleep difficulties, depression, grief, anxiety and life transition difficulties (retirement, divorce, children moving). My goal is to work with patients to increase their ability to solve their own problems. Often times this process begins with an intake session where a patient will share some of their personal history. This helps to increase self-awareness by identifying patterns, thoughts, beliefs, and relationships that are contributing to the problem. While there is no set timetable for how long therapy will take, many people start to feel better and function differently within 3-5 sessions. I believe that therapy should create independence within a person, not dependence on a psychologist to solve all of life’s problems.
